On 19th November 2015, the EU published a Regulation for a new common deactivation standard along with proposals to amend an existing Firearms Directive (91/477/EEC). Both of these will adversely affect both collectors and retailers of deactivated firearms in the UK, along with related interests and industries including historical re-enactment and film and television. It is massively important that everyone plays their part in fighting the proposals by lobbying their MEP and MP. Please see below for details.
